Hey! Thanks for creating the issue :) Currently, there are two paths where Vibe will export files:

  1. For normal transcriptions, you can choose the export folder, and that path is saved for future use.
  2. For batch transcriptions, the files are exported to the same path you transcribed from. I think that's sufficient. Could you elaborate on why you need extended path options?

the main problem is the place of the record (that Vibe produce clicking on "start record") i see that any wav file is placed in Documents image

by default Documents is under OneDrive sync, so each file is be synced to the cloud also if is a temporary registration (temporary cause what i need is the transcript). there are a lot of MB copied to the cloud unnecessarily

that's it

You can disable the auto saving for the files. Do you need them?

I just ran into a similar issue. To my understanding there are only two options when it comes to recording audio files within Vibe. They are either saved within the Documents folder, or they are not saved at all.

From what I understand this issue is asking that there be a third option: Choose a folder where the audio files will be saved.

I think this feature would be very helpful. I'm currently dictating elements of some research that I am doing. It would be helpful to specify a folder within my project directory where the audio files are saved instead of having to manually move them from my Documents folder.

I apologize in advance if I misunderstood this issue or if the feature is already in Vibe. I've had no luck finding it.

Thank you, @thewh1teagle for making this excellent software.
