Can't move flagship through touch #51

Is there an existing issue for this?

Describe the bug

Can't control the flagship's movement and can only land by touching on radar/minimap. Works on the previous versions.

Steps to Reproduce

I don't know what to write here. Can't move flagship after getting out into space.

Expected Behavior

Expected the usual movement of flagship through touch or any other means to control the movement.

Additional Information

Reverted back to older version. Found the game through reddit. And the OP also had the same issue. Sorry in advance if i did anything stupid and didn't attach the savefile cuz i am not playing the new version.

I am unable to reproduce this with my save game. Can you export your save game and post here?

Oww... i made a brand new save/profile and the result was the same... lemme see if i can record it and send it to you...

The engineering build is done. You will have to uninstall any f-droid version (which will delete your save games, so export them first).

Turn on "Show CPU / GPU load" in Preferences->Settings->Performance, and the last 10 input events should be posted on your screen. If you can post a screenshot of what it looks like when you try to fly your ship, I would greatly appreciate it.

Sorry I have just tried couple of times but the results are the same (navigation controls not working).

yeah, I don't expect it to be fixed yet, I modified the program to give me more debug output from further down the stack. I just need another screenshot while you are trying to fly your ship.

By the way, if you are attaching images via email, I'm not getting them. use the github webpage if you need to do that.

huh... I'm rather surprised you got the game to run on those devices. endless-sky has a bad habit of preloading the entire game's worth of graphics up front, which takes about 2 gig of ram (1 gig for reduced graphics mode).

I dug out an old android 6.0 tablet, and deleted about half of the graphics in order to get it to run, and I was able to reproduce the issue.
