Report on 2010/07/30 from Michael (xinx) on the maillist:

HowToPortPyMite.txt

"...pm_vmPeriodic(<ms>); with an argument that is the number of 
milliseconds..." seems to be not valid anymore - this function expects 
microseconds (as documented in the source)
