Some words that build-up tool-specific color names are translatable, e.g. mix node or blend node. However this doesn't apply to the following tools:

Also, in localized UI the application skips a space symbol between color name and tool name for brightness-darkness.

I could not reproduce the second part. Could you provide your *.po file?

Either I do not get the same problem, or I am looking at the wrong place, because everything looks good to me (see attached screenshot).
