[FEATURE REQUEST] Hints on random tablets #83

There are a lot of useless tablets out there - perhaps we should take a page from alttpr's playbook and put hints on some of them that point towards specific items (maybe colouring them differently to make them visually obvious as 'hint tablets?').

The way alttpr works, every seed is guaranteed to have a hint for the boots - perhaps we could do the same with every seed guaranteed to hint towards, say, the feathers or the grail. And then other randomly generated hints.... idk.

I thought so too, we could make the grail points to be actually hint tablets. There's a total of 18, and mixing up joke hints with actual hints could make finding the scanner with translation software even more useful.

Making them the grail tablets makes a lot of sense - that's great!

While I don't see the relevance of most of those hints to people who already know how to solve all the puzzles (which is most people playing the randomizer), I think what would make this feature actually interesting would be the tablets you have to read to unlock chests and things. For example, somewhere in the ruins is a random tablet with the Isis Room message on it, and not only do you have to get into the room by finding pendant or talking to fairy queen, you also have to have read the tablet (with glyph reader) in order to spawn the pedestal that opens the chest. Similar things might apply to the tower hatches, Scales, Backbeard (maybe also add a switch so you don't get surprised), Chi You, the Cog of the Soul puzzles, and the three translation tablets. Having mantras on random unmarked tablets could also be fun.

Edit: I didn't realize they were talking about tablets with completely new text hinting at an item's randomized location. That would actually be a good and relevant feature too.
