Lgtm, you used code style highlights in the first point which I am not sure if you meant to do? Perhaps bold or italic would be better suited. (This is not important for the acceptance of the paper so I'm closing the issue)
Add communities guidelines to the README:
Community guidelines: Are there clear guidelines for third parties wishing to 1) Contribute to the software 2) Report issues or problems with the software 3) Seek support
