2nd try for this change :)

Custom cover filename (default is ".cover.jpg") in settings.

You can :

manually upload an image to be used as cover and will not be displayed in album (hidden file) or
Select album cover from an image of the folder

Available internationalization :

Default (english)
French

Hey alesc,

If you put your own config file into the pull, it will create a merge conflict for everyone when they try to git pull on their repo.

Yes, I saw it last night when I've commited by error this file. Regardless of this mistake, I think this PR is outdated and I've commited on my branch much more (and not yet finnished) parts that have nothing to do with tumbnails.
