the best way is to change user agent in browser, let youtube.com/tv thinking you're openng from TV and it will work.. then there activate it with your google account and install TV into your mobile phone Youtube app. This is exactly what I was looking for, it works also if devices aren't on the same wifi

Wow that's quite smart but I guess it will only work with youtube?
Yes sure, it is a youtube feature, it works with youtube site
Hi mates, sorry if I create an issue to look for a solution, I'm looking for a way to simulate Cromecast on my PC (Win10 1909), my phone will find it and will send the link of the youtube video to my PC, where I suppose to have a browser opened on fullscreen that is able to show me the video. No screen mirroring which it takes lot of bandwith WiFi, drain my phone battery and maybe keep the screen on, and no solutions like download and send all the media to the PC (something that Web Video Caster app on my Android seems to do).
I'm lookig for a simple way to send videos from the youtube app on my phone, pressing the cast button and play now. There is any chance? I've tried Airserver but it supports only screen mirroring, Windows native scrren mirroring not works, as well as WIndows native DLNA (I enabled, and tested all this on 2 different Win10 1909, in different LAN routers, amazing.. a bug of version 1909?), some js modules too but without success, I can't see the device to cast. Do you have kindly any solution? Thanks
