Anet A8 - Autolevel Offset Issue #1

Hi I'm having a problem with the autolevel sensor setup in Skynet3D. I've completed the installation and setup the Z offset correctly. When I start printing the Nozzle is going too low and the no filament is coming out. Only when I stop the extruder motor during first layer the print from second layer is ok. Changing the Z offset value does not solve the issue the nozzle is always going too low. Also changing the autolevel points to 5 did not improve the print. Do you have any idea what could be the issue ?

Hi, this is not the official Skynet3d repository; but since the facebook group seems to have disappeared....

Did you home your printer (G28) before auto levelling (G29) ? How did you verify that the offset is correct? It seems like you have a wrong Z offset. Did pre-heat the printer before starting the auto level? For my printer the offset is smaller when the nozzle is heated for a while. (If I level with a cold nozzle, then heat and print the nozzle is too low)

Hi .... I did heat up nozzle and bed during calibration and the first print out was ok. But now every change of the offset shows now improvement.

On the heated table there is an additional element of the glass type wood rug? Perhaps your sensor does not work correctly due to a large distance from the metal surface. And each time it gives not accurate data.

You can provide a photo of the sensor itself and the surface on which you are printing. It would also be desirable to provide information on which firmware you use. And whether the auto level table is included.

i got it working now ..... I'm not 100 % sure how, but I only got the correct offset during a cancelled print. The calibration (before printing) did not work. I've tried may times. The nozzle came too low when I printed after calibration. The difference on the offset between both setup option was almost 1 mm.
