Converted from SourceForge issue 2909180, submitted by SourceForge user no. 2724922 on 2009-12-05 04:56:13 UTC.

I was importing a recipe from a webpage when the program hung. I closed the program and attempted to restart it but instead received the message 'Errors occurred'. Thus I am now unable to start the program.

Windows XP sp3

Log file attached.

Thank you for reporting this problem. I am unable to reproduce it on ubuntu with gourmet version 0.14.0 (the latest unstable release). It works fine for me. Do you still experience this issue?

Your database has a unicode error in it. You may need to delete (or move) the file recipes.db to start again (this will remove your recipe database, so if you have data you really don't want to lose, try moving it rather than deleting it -- then you can email it to me later for rescuing if need be).

I have dealt with the kind of unicode error you saw in the past -- I'm curious if this is still an issue with the latest Windows release.
