Displayed products don't adjust to filter selection #4

Steps to reproduce:

Standard installation with demo products.
Remove these overrides from the theme to use the actual module code:
- themes/community-theme-default/modules/blocklayered/blocklayered.tpl
- themes/community-theme-default/js/modules/blocklayered/blocklayered.js
View a category page to see layered navigation.
Move the upper price slider knob downwards, towards a lower price.

Expected result:

As one releases the knob, presented products not matching the filter get removed.

Actual result:

Presented products don't change.

Hint: pagination buttons and product count numbers get adjusted just fine.
