The script that we wrote to segregate the servers by default parses the servers with port 53. It might be the case that this port is blocked by your ISP so you should change the script to a port which is open. Please try it!

Are there any specific port numbers that I can Try which might not be blocked. My college is using sophos security was trying to get psiphon for ubuntu which was working really good with windows on my friends PC's

Tried lot of other things in ubuntu but couldn't really break it.

tanmaytat11 commented 7 years ago

You can try to use wireshark or a similar tool to see at which port the windows psiphon is connecting and try to connect to that ports via the Ubuntu python client.

Good Day, is it entirely changing of port in the script? or by just simply changing the port in terminal by using the argument -p ?

mordoss commented 6 years ago

Did you try connecting to a no OSSH server? Add -a option on the end of the command.

jsmithw commented 6 years ago

That worked for me

shashwatpandeyy commented 5 years ago

Can anyone help me? It is not connecting to any server! And also it is showing :Server does not support OSSH

antonyjm462 commented 5 years ago

Same problem here

You can try to use wireshark or a similar tool to see at which port the windows psiphon is connecting and try to connect to that ports via the Ubuntu python client

Can anyone specify how to change the port in script ,sorry I am new to Ubuntu

tejasvi commented 5 years ago

Can confirm, it's just looping with no connection. Tried -a and replacing 53 with 443 in psi_client.py with no avail.
