upgrade of r140 does not work #8

What steps will reproduce the problem?
1. Check Out the repo 
2. edit the default variables
3. try to send a mail using APPLY now

What is the expected output? What do you see instead?
The phpmailer script responds with a "cant find local file"

What version of the product are you using? On what operating system?
php 5.2.9 phpmailer 5.0.0 or 5.0.2

Please provide any additional information below.
