due the european data security regulations we are currently in need to get the users agreement to use arsnova only on his first login. Now I'm wondering how we can check if a specific user is new to the system. We are using ldap and guest login. Or is there maybe something in the pipeline?

You could set up a "Message of the Day" with the target audience "All logged-in users" for this use case.

@dgerhardt its not really a popup. We need to get (with a checkbox) a explicit agreement of the user to use the plattform. A simple message is unfornately not enough :(
