No actually a xbmc-Launcher issue.
I think you must add file system root as media in XBMC.
You can solve this issue by going Videos, selecting a folder and "c" for menu.
Switching media to File Manager an there you can add your file system root as
new media.

I'm having the same issue over here even with the C drive added as a source.
The only drive I can select is the D drive which, on my machine, is a virtual
cd rom built into my external hard drive. I never added that drive as a source
and I can't un-source it from XBMC but that's a whole other fish entirely.

After disabling the Virtual Drive all the root folders showed up, before
disabling the virtual drive it would only show the virtual drive.

I had this same issue. It only occurs when my Daemon Tools virtual drive is
enabled. Exiting Daemon tools (or maybe whatever virtual drive you are using)
is a workaround to this problem.

I get this too, adding folders to the video sources list does not help, all
Launcher (or Executor for that matter) sees is the Music and Videos folder from
the Home dir.

I am having the same issue with only being able to see the optical drive, did
you ever get your issue resolved?

I've got the same issue - I can only see my Music folder, which is on a network
share. Even if I add the local D: drive as a source in Pictures, Music, and
Videos, it still doesn't show up as a directory in Launcher.
I think this may be an issue with XBMC, however, because I get the exact same
behavior in the ROM Collector plugin.

@ Paul:
I was able to get around my particular issue by completely uninstalling the
fake and useless optical drive (as described by fbakhrani above)which had the
'fancy' backup software for my external hard drive. The moment this drive was
no longer available adding new sources worked as expected and I've had no
further issues.

Same issue here as well.
Im running XBMC Live 10.1. Ive installed Launcher and I can only browse within
the /live/image directory. I also have Rom Collection Browser installed which
has the same
issue - sounds like its not a launcher specific problem.
The suggestion above of adding the root filesystem as a source did not work.

SOLVED ON XBMC LIVE :
I managed to solve my issue on XBMC Live.
I had to add the root file system in FileManager.
1) Got to SYSTEM > FileManager
2) Select Add Source
3) Browse to the root filesystem, give it a name, and add.
You should now see the new source in Launcher.

This didn't solve it for me, but I got it to work after all. The problem was
that I had a DVD in my optical drive when starting XBMC, which caused the
explorer to only see the optical drive somehow. After ejecting the DVD and
restarting XBMC, the sources I added before were there.
Maybe some problem with devices that are mounted later/during XBMC startup?
I was running Windows 7 by the way.

I have the same issue, in windows 7. My C: drive doesn't show up, in fact no
drives show up only tv shows and videos. I know it used to show my C: drive
because I have launchers that link to programs on that drive. I don't have
virtual drives, or disks in the optical drive so that isn't the issue. I've
tried adding the drive under videos etc. and it still doesn't show up

I'm having this issue as well. My I: drive is a MagicISO Virtualdisk and it's
the only one that shows up. I don't want to disable it a I use it from time to
time. I tried adding my other drives as sources in "Add-Ons" but nothing has
changed. Annoying as I'm trying to get CDisplayEx working on XBMC!

This is happening to me with a PHYSICAL drive, so I'm f****d. I need that drive
in to burn discs, but luckily it only seems to be happening in Adv. Launcher
and nowhere else. So much for integrating my games and apps into XBMC so it
could replace my desktop.
