scrolling begins with a jerk

What steps will reproduce the problem?
1. open document (djvu)
2. hold finger on screen to scroll
3. move finger

What is the expected output?
smooth document scrolling from the minimal finger move

What do you see instead?
document scrolling begins with a jerk after the displacement of a finger on a 
half-centimeter, in case of long hold with no displacement - scrolling does not 
start

What version of the product are you using?
ebookdroid 1.6.4

On what operating system?
android 2.3.5

What device are you using?
htc desire s
