Thanks for the comment. irFFB is pretty small code and so it is best to run it from the C drive.
I have stumbled upon the same issue. I have got my documents folder on D: and my desktop one on C:. It created no .ini file in either of those.
What I find strange is that all values are being kept after closing and reopening the program except "Effect timing". Also, Oversteer Effect Intensity is only saved if it is modified at the same time as another one.
So, after finding out these behavior, I wonder where are these settings being saved if the file is not created? Also, do you have any idea why it is not being created at all under no circumstances?? Debug logging option creates the log file successfully but it holds no info relative to this problem.
I am on v2.0.0
I have been checking the problem and have found that the uploaded source files are NOT from the latest release so I find myself unable to work to fix this bug while maintaining all features developed by you in v2.0.0.
I have found this other issue where this is mentioned. https://github.com/thogue95/irFFB/issues/11#issuecomment-1378774817
Would you be able to push your latest changes??
This really isn't an issue as I can easily enough run it from my primary drive, but just wanted to pass it along. I tend to keep my drives organized based on what is on there, and I usually put utility type software in the U:. My primary drive is the C:\, and this is where the Users folder lives. If I run irFFB from the U drive, no settings file is created inside my users Document folder. If I run irFFB from the C drive it creates the file within my users document folder as expected. I'll just run it from the C drive since it works fine from there, but just throwing this out to you as something I've noticed. Thank you for you work on this as this has been great to have!
