Firefox: No auto-focus to search bar #4

I'm using Firefox Quantum 57.0.1 and when I open a new tab, the cursor doesn't automatically jump into the search box. Not a huge deal, but it does makes searching quite a bit slower. I'm not sure whether you intend to maintain this project or not, but if there's an quick fix to add this behavior, I'd love to keep using the add-on.

Hi there! This is strange, the search box is automatically focused for me in firefox (same version) when clicking the new tab button, or using cmd + t

Definitely happy to fix it if we can debug it. Which operating system are you using?

Thanks for the response! I on macOS Sierra 10.12.6. Yeah, both cmd + t and the new tab button show the same issue on my end.
