Popeye is a chess problem solving and testing software with strong support for fairy chess and heterodox genres. For more information cf. topic "Popeye (chess)" on http://en.wikipedia.org/
Popeye still cannot solve retro-moves. Problems such as "-1w -> h#2" could be tested.
It is IMHO only necessary to only check for anything pure moves and not for anything else retro-related. So if a composer declares a retro-problem C+ by Popeye it should only be stated for correctness (and uniqueness) for the moves themselves and not for legality reasons in retro play.
