Currently, estimates of when the matching will be completed is continuously printed in the log. These estimated have always been intended as rough approximations, just to get a hint of whether it will take one minute, hour, or day to finish. But with the current wording, and them being displayed by default, it is natural to assume these estimates are more precise. It would probably be a good idea to not show them by default, but add a toggle paramter so that they can be included, and in the documentation make it clear that the estimates are very crude.
