Feature Request: Manual Stress Score Entry #662

Open ndaman opened 5 years ago

ndaman commented 5 years ago

Sometimes I do a spin class where I have no power data, estimated or otherwise, but I would like to include it in my fitness trend. Is there a way we can add a manual activity with our own, manually entered stress score for such cases?

hiobsch commented 5 years ago

Same story for me (commutes that I don't always want to do with heart rate monitor). A manual entry possibility would be awesome!

+1 on this request. My use case is that I have several x-country skiing activities where my wrist HR monitor didn't work properly. I therefore stripped the HR data from Strava but I would like to manually add an estimate of stress, especially since this is the main training I've been doing for the last two months,

grzeg1 commented 5 years ago

What if one could enter AVG HR value in the description field like [AVGHR:140] and then Stravistix would pick it up and use for calculations accordingly? Do you think that would be possible?

Why it's so important for me: a missing activity makes the whole fitness chart irrelevant for many days. Much better to register the activity with estimated AVG HR which may be slightly imprecise but will keep your fitness charts sane.

+1 from me also.

I have a similar request - since my heart rate monitor is in repair (for 4 weeks), my fitness level is now going down towards zero... Can't I allocate an average heart rate so my fitness levels keep on being adjusted? --> update - Stravistix actually foresees entering a FTP (Running Functional Threshold Pace) - adding this in athlete settings, Stravistix will recalculate all runs without heart rate monitor and adjust fitness - brilliant!

+1 I discarded by mistake a Garmin ride and was unable to recover it. I uploaded the manual activity, but has no stress score, so no impact in my fitness trend.

To all: understood. I'll find a way to push that

:disappointed: :sob:

+1

current Golden Cheetah user, would switch to Elevate, except for this one thing. Absolutely need a manual override for TSS (PSS) data, or else the whole performance manager piece is useless.

Any update on this? I prefer Elevate over all other tools for it's clean looks and functionality but the lack of manual TSS entry is killing me

thomaschampagne commented 5 years ago

This will come in a new product ;)

I googled for this very thing today and ended up here. I'd love to be able to add manual TSS to my F&F chart Thomas, thank you!

👍 +1 from me for this
