I contacted nix-community folks after your approval. You should now be able to accept an invitation to nix-community and transfer the repo. Feel free to contact nix-community members on Matrix in case of questions.

Sure, if someone invites me I'm happy to transfer. Alternately, as a collaborator, feel free to transfer yourself if that's easier.

They sent an invitation. You "can join by going on the nix-community page."

As a collaborator, I can't transfer the repo.
