2 years ago Hi Thomas - just following up after additional testing. I went through adding a custom badge-card to one of my dashboards directly in the YAML. It worked great.
I guess I was just expecting the badge-card to appear in the 'selectable card list' dialogue like 'layout-card' appears there but I guess not? To be clear, I wasn't expecting it to have a visual editor, but just to select it to be added and then configure via YAML at that point (several of my other HACS frontend plugins work like this).
If that's the case, maybe I missed this nuance in the documentation or maybe one more sentence would help...
If it's actually supposed to be listed in the 'add card' dialogue, then it's not for me.
Anyway, it is confirmed installed and I do have it working. So feel free to just close this issue without comment if you want. But it might help to explicitly state that this is 100% YAML only and not available via the card picker when building a dashboard.

Hi Thomas. I have several of your other custom cards installed via HACS and working just fine... but I just tried to set up the Badge Card and it's not available in Lovelace card selector after an apparently successful install via HACS.
On: Home Assistant 2022.11.1 Supervisor 2022.10.2 Operating System 9.3 Frontend 20221102.1 - latest
Additional Info / Steps taken: The plug-in shows up in my HACS frontend group I can see the /hacsfiles/lovelace-badge-card/badge-card.js?hacstag=2814536085672 as a JS resource in the Lovelace resrouces I have cleared Chrome Cache I have uninstalled and reinstalled the plug-in.
I have not tried to install it manually yet.
I thought I'd open an issue and see if you had any suggestions.
