Installation from HACs not possible

My Home Assistant version: 2022.10.5 (HACS version 1.28.3)

Layout-card version (FROM BROWSER CONSOLE): not yet installed

What I am doing: Trying to install layout carde from HACS

What I expected to happen: installation starts

What happened instead: installation keeps spinning for hours, nothing happens (all available versions!)

Minimal steps to reproduce:

Error messages from the browser console: none

I just installed successfully. Do you see anything in the Home Assistant Log?
