Not experiencing this. But around 04:00 in the night is generally a bad time for intensive tasks as per default the recorder purge takes place here (if not disabled/set to another time).
Try to keep away from 4 to 5 in the night would be my suggestion to see if it changes anything.
Next I would exclude parts (folders, addons) step by step from the backup.
And monitor the supervisor logs closely.

Seems to be an intermittent issue. Most times the backup system works fine (love it and it has saved my bacon a few times) But now and then the back up system will completely crash HA and take the system down, requiring a cold boot to restart (and HA is fine again)

I used to run it at 4:00AM but I would wake to a dead house from time to time... Now I run it at 4:00PM so I can reboot it later in the day if I see that the "dusk" routines fail. (failed again last night)
Anyone experiencing this?
