Thanks @Corona-Groep-NL : as I said, I already sent a donation or two to Thomas, but I wanted to give more to both Thomas (and I knew how to contribute) and @bj00rn and everyone else who's going to support/maintain the project.
I've been trying for some time to reach Thomas, not sure if my messages via his homepage are working. We have set up a new business doing energy management (metering, monitoring, load control). We use MQTT (and AMQP (duck)) ... and MQTT Explorer is an incredibly valuable tool. We'd like to participate in feedback, feature requests, etc ... and contribute to this project so that it is financially viable for the lead devs. If @bj00rn or @thomasnordquist could PM me, I'd like to set up a call if that's doable.
@roger-hislop my goal is to get this awesome project back to life, and get some of the low hanging PRs merged. Any future release would be at the mercy of the maintainer, unless it's possible to get some kind of nightly (unsigned) build action going. That being said I have very limited time to put into this project.
@ilgrank you can find my buymecoffe link on my profile if you would like to make a contribution
@bj00rn : any chance you can add Paypal or similar to the donation methods? :)

If the licensing of the software could be changed I think forking and starting a new might be a better solution. The current license prevents any derivatives which is very annoying. So if you decided to fork and change the code you could not distribute the changed version.
I had wanted to do some modifications for my work and then distribute to colleagues but the license specifically forbides that.
Not being a programmer, I can't help with coding, but I'd wish to contribute to the 'rebirth' of MQTT Explorer. I've made some donation to Thomas in the past, but I'd wish to support @bj00rn and everyone whos is wishing to help him, or at least offer you a beer :) Is there a way we can contribute? Maybe you can setup a Paypal donations account? Thanks @bj00rn and @thomasnordquist , you have our gratitude
