format/practice does not work #27

What steps will reproduce the problem?
1. ./deal -i format/practice
2.
3.

What is the expected output? What do you see instead?

I expect to see the hands separated into different pages as in quickstart 
examples. Instead I just see the standard deal output.

What version of the product are you using? On what operating system?
Using deal 3.1.9 freshly built on Ubuntu Lucid Lynx

Please provide any additional information below.

Sorry. It does work. Did not realize it created files out.north, out.west etc.
