1 year ago Bootswatch 5.3.0 has been released with initial dark mode support.
Some bugs to iron out, some refactoring to be done with CSS vars, and decisions to be made regarding dark themes, but most of the themes work well with dark mode out of the box!
I've added a toggle menu to preview dark mode on the site:
The default Bootstrap just came out with color modes: https://getbootstrap.com/docs/5.3/customize/color-modes/
It would be great if bootswatch supported these, at least dark mode
