Not sure if you really need this. Just changing the metadata won't change the video's contents.
For example if your video is in English and your website in English and Spanish - why don't you add an English and a Spanish .vtt File to the video?
Can you explain your use-case why you need a different vtt file in the translated metadata?
The use-case is: Our customer have only videos in German, but the website existing in German and English. They want only the subtitles for the active language. In English it is for the translation of the spoken word.
Well okay, this is currently not possible. I'll look into it when I have the time. In my opinion you should just add both vtt files for both languages
At the moment the renderer takes the tracks from the default language. I try to translate the metadata of a video and make a relation to a new .vtt file. Yes, I translate the metadata of the new .vtt file too, but I only get the .vtt of the default language. The other fields of the metadata are correct translated.
Is it currently possible to use different .vtt files for languages?
