Hi Team

is there a way to have the bot still process the request but let the user know that they still need to update their discord id in overseer it self (the little extra prompt maybe the differnce to get my users to smartin up)

Hey @lisim,

Just want to double check what you mean. If I was a user and requested something, requestrr would check if my user is in overseerr/Ombi, if it isn't, request the item as normal, but add a prompt at the bottom of the request with something like "your user was not found, please setup your user correctly on the server"

Hi mate

Sorry no when a request is made and feed through Overseer it checks if their discord is linked to a user then requests under them else requests under the default user id, id love a way to feedback to those users with something like "Your Discord is not linked to your overseerr account please follow X"

Ok, yes, I follow you. Currently this isn't a feature or some thing that is begin worked on, however, in the future I want to look at how Requestrr could handle requests form new users, so this might be an option.

For the moment, I can add this, but this is a good suggestion and when I have time for it, I can look into implementing it. :)

I dont have the brain to help sadly but i figured since it already does the check adding a condition would be the next step

That's ok, it's not a big ask and not a big thing to add, I will look into it after the next feature is implemented :)
