Hello, this tool could be an enhancement to the existing quadface tool, but would also be great as a stand-alone tool also with an assigned shortcut key similar to using the (L) key to draw a Line. The workflow would be very similar to the blender tool workflow gif below.
Workflow: Activate the tool, select the connecting vertex between two line segments, move your mouse to the desired position you want to create a new planar quad's corner opposite the vertex previously selected, and click. A new planar quad is created and the process can be quickly repeated to form clean planar quad rings around and over messy scaffold geometry.
Recently, I've been creating animal and other organic forms to be plasma cut from steel and welded together, and using mostly planar quads works great, but it can be time-consuming to create the clean geometry from scratch. This is my first time using github, so I apologize if I'm not doing something correctly.
