No Saucy Salamander (13.10) repositories for Steam Login #16

Will the project be dropped because of SteamOS release?

I don't intend to use the official SteamOS because I don't like the gnome desktop and I have compatibility issues with other softwares that I use.

This said, I really like to have the Steam login on my favored ubuntu system...

I don't think this little project needs like some hardcore maintenance. If you look at the code files it's a pretty easy-to-edit project.

Also, isn't SteamOS built in Debian wheezy? if so it should be relatively stable, and good backwards compatibility. And you could install the unity desktop dependences on it if you really were eager to do so. So far it's only a beta, and might take months for it to get an stable release.

PS: I just saw steam's controller, it looks pretty neat.

I was able to modify the software sources manually and use the raring ringtail version. But I had to search the reason when it did not work, at first.

And because I had no way to be sure that there was no difference between the precise and raring versions, I wasn't sure if I could do that even if everything seemed to be all right.
