don't work mouse #31

I have mouse A4Tech Bloody R8.

After reboot on Steam-desktop - mouse not work, i tap exit on keyboard. In game mouse not work too :(

How fix?

What is the output of "lsusb" and "dmesg | tail" in your terminal?

I should have been more specific, run the dmesg command after unplugging or replugging in the mouse.

Is this mouse plugged into a hub, if so, then try plugging it into the computer directly. Past that, it looks like it should work as the kernel sees it as an input device.

Also make sure the xserver-xorg-input-evdev package is installed.

Now my mouse detect as joystick, and in the hub it detect as joystick in game Metro 2033 (but i solve this sudo mv /dev/input/event7 /dev/input/event7.bak).

If you still have this problem, try to remove the line "disable_joysticks" from your /usr/bin/steam-de script and see if this fix your problem.
