1 year ago Hi, so I tried the steam-de command on the desktop and it maximised properly and I replaced steam-de with steam in the steam-bigpicture.desktop file and tried it from the login screen again and it didn't work so I think that it's not a problem with your application necessarily.
Basically, everything works but Steam in big picture mode opens in the top left of the screen instead of being fullscreen. I think it's a resolution issue, I'm using a 1440p monitor if that helps. Also my display manager is sddm.
