Why is the code not public? Safe to run? #3

Wondering why directly push to download the release file instead of having the code public to see?

The tool has been downloaded 4335 times and is developed by ThorLabs, which is a well known org here. We chose not to open-source the code to prevent potential misuse, such as overwhelming RPC servers with excessive requests. While we recognize the value of transparency, protecting the integrity of RPC services is our priority.

The executable is carefully tested and safe to use. We appreciate your understanding and are open to further discussions on this topic
