Will be troublesome to update the age of all the pets

Current Behavior Paw petrol is meant for clinics to keep track of their owner and pet data. However, currently the application stores the age of the pets. This will be troublesome for users as after a year, they will have to manually update all of the pets age by 1.

Suggested Improvement Don't store age as a field. If required can store birthday instead.

Thanks! Although we did consider this, we wanted the flexibility to allow for pet age e.g. dog years for users to decide.

In addition, such batch updates should not occur. Updates should only occur on a birthday (not after a year as suggested). It is troublesome to verify the age of the pets and if they are still present. This can instead be update on next visit. Birthdates for some pets may also not be known and can only be estimated.
