Positional audio and radio FX not working for whispers #4

Closed cecil1527 closed 11 years ago

I set up a whisper list and tried whispering a contact and then tried whispering a channel. Both times the audio came through normally (as it would without the plugin running). The positional audio and radio FX function correctly within my current channel, but not for whispers. I've tried disabling all other plugins and messing around with all CrossTalk settings but nothing had any effect.

It's processing received streams, not the outgoing ones, so received whispers should be positioned and get audio fx. Probably should communicate this more prominent in the description.

I didn't mean that I thought the plugin was meant to function as some sort of voice changer on my outgoing audio.

For the incoming audio, I'm not hearing whispers get radio FX or be positioned. They sound normal to me. My friend also has the plugin installed, and he gets the same results when he receives my whispers (it sounds like my normal voice and comes through both ears). For both of us, the incoming audio from each other's whispers is unprocessed.

Everything else seems to work correctly with the plugin. Though, I don't know what the section titled 'Other' is for, so I haven't been able to test if radio effects and positional audio works correctly for it.

Thank you for the quick replies too!

"Other" referes to talk in the currently non-selected tabs when using multiple tabs (excluding whispers which are catch-all). I'll look into it tomorrow / the weekend, I'm not at my best at 2am ;)

OK, no problem. Thanks for your hard work by the way. I really appreciate it. I've been looking for a standalone TS plugin to do these things for quite some time.

I tested the settings for 'Other' by connecting to a second TS server and they all work correctly. The audio is processed with radio effects and position. It's just the whispers that do not work.

Thanks again.

Soo, I found out what's happening. Interestingly enough, it seems to be a bug on teamspeak itself, don't know since when. However I'm able to bandaid this.

1.3.1 is up which should bandaid this issue.
