Hi Tiago
Translating is not so easy when I don't know the context that's why, for some msg, I propose several translations : you know the context so you can choose the best one
msgid "Browse in File Manager" msgstr "Parcourir avec le Gestionnaire de Fichiers" or even "Naviguer dans le Gestionnaire de Fichiers" if you mean "Explore with the File Manager" or msgstr "Chercher avec le Gestionnaire de Fichiers" if "browse in "means "look for something in"
msgid "Burn as AudioCD using Brasero" msgstr " Graver en AudioCD avec Brasero"
msgid "Burn as DataCD using Brasero" msgstr " Graver en DataCD avec Brasero"
msgid "Open Terminal in directory" msgstr "Ouvrir un Terminal dans le dossier"
msgid "Edit cover using GIMP" msgstr " Modifier la pochette avec GIMP" if "edit" means "modify" or msgstr " Créer la pochette avec GIMP" if "edit" means "create"
msgid "To mp3" msgstr " En mp3"
msgid "From file" msgstr "Depuis le fichier" it you mean a specific file = the file or msgstr "Depuis un fichier" if you mean a non specific file = a file
msgid "To file" msgstr "Vers un fichier" or even "Dans un fichier" if you mean adding something into a file or msgstr "En fichier" if you mean transform something into a file
When you'll have chosen the good translations let me know : I will try to translate into italian and greek
here the german translation.
msgid "Browse in File Manager"
msgstr "Suche im Dateimanager"
msgid "Burn as AudioCD using Brasero"
msgstr "Als AudioCD mit Brasero brennen"
msgid "Burn as DataCD using Brasero"
msgstr "Als Daten-CD mit Brasero brennen"
msgid "Open Terminal in directory"
msgstr "Terminal im Ordner öffnen"
msgid "Edit cover using GIMP"
msgstr "Cover mit GIMP bearbeiten"
msgid "To mp3"
msgstr "Auf mp3"
msgid "From file"
msgstr "Aus einer Datei"
msgid "To file"
msgstr "In Datei"

The messages are from the "commands" submenu, the inner items, if you right click in an Artist or Album for example. They should appear in english to you.
"To file" and "From file" are the texts from lyrics source and target in preferences. They should appear in english to you as well. But that's ok, I already choose one between the alternatives.

I understand now what it is about In /home/myusername/.opencpn there's a subfolder /Lyrics (/home/myusername/.opencpn/Lyrics) in which lyrics can be stored I never used this choice (always embedding the lyrics inside the track file) So in source "from file" means "from a lyrics file" in destination "to file" means "to a lyrics file"
this should be translated in source "from file" = "depuis un fichier de paroles" in destination "to file" = "dans un fichier de paroles"

I use Plasma (KDE) and not Gnome :-( I don't have neither Nautilus, nor Brasero, nor the gnome terminal, nor SoundConvertor (I have Dolphin, K3b, konsole, Soundkonvertor)
I only have Gimp for which the command leads to the only present program : the french msg may be strictly "modifier la pochette avec Gimp" since with this command Gimp can't easily create a cover from nothing, it can only edit an existing cover
the other commands (msgid "Browse in File Manager" , msgid "Burn as AudioCD using Brasero" , msgid "Burn as DataCD using Brasero" , msgid "Open Terminal in directory" ) lead to nothing inside Plasma
"Browse in File manager" leads indeed strictly to Nautilus, this should be "Browse in Nautilus" as it was previously translated as "explorer avec Nautilus"
PS Since Guayadeque was created for Gnome users some commands exist only for Gnome desktop environment and not for Plasma and KDE Nevertheless Guayadeque functions perfectly inside Plasma KDE with these little limits of the commands

Some comments:
konsole --workdir {bp}
I'll try to update it automatically (in KDE) by code, let's see...
you said : "Browse in File Manager don't use Nautilus, it uses xdg-open, it should work in any DE at first. My test in Mageia runs fine here."
here is a partial screen capture showing which browser is proposed inside Mageia9 : this leads to nowhere when I click on it
NB I have verified my guayadeque.conf file I found the answer ! I have updated Guayadeque keeping my previous /home/myusername/.opencpn
here are lines that are the culprit
culprit_lines.txt I will modify the pre-exisiting guayadeque.conf
Tested : that did the trick
Inside guayadeque.conf, I replaced Exec0 value="nautilus {bp}" Name0 value="Browse in Nautilus" Exec3 value="gnome-console --working directory {bp}"
(which were originally written by anonbeat) by Exec0 value="xdg-open {bp}" Name0 value="Browse in File Manager" Exec3 value="konsole --workdir {bp}"
It's something to know : Indeed if you keep a previous /home/myusername/.opencpn when updating Guayadeque some changes brought to guayadeque.conf won't be done

Oh right! The old guayadeque.conf files are not migrated to the new one. It had changed in 05/2023
@filochard, Can you provide french translation for this as well?
msgid "Enable equalizer" msgstr ""
msgid "Enable volume and fader" msgstr ""
msgid "Show album cover in the player" msgstr ""

You can also edit the commands in guayadeque UI, Preferences -> Commands

here it is :
msgid "Enable equalizer" msgstr "activer l'égaliseur"
Thank you very much. I think french is complete now (or almost!)
I found a solution for the commands needing Brasero I installed it
The command allows to create an audio CD from an album in Guayadeque it transcodes the tracks But Brasero can't find my cd burner !!! it only allows to create an iso and a cue file
I googled a little and could not discover any solution for this inability of Brasero to find a cdburner
Strange since k3b finds the /dev/sr0 and there are several links to it (/dev/cdrom /dev/cdrw /dev/dvd /dev/dvdrw)
Did you try to burn an audio CD with Brasero ? even outside of its use from Guayadeque
I launched Brasero alone and tried to create an audio CD with a folder containing a full mp3 album Brasero converted all the files but didn't find the cdwriter... It seems not able to find it when it works outside of the Gnome desktop
No way for me
Do you have a blank CD in the drive? I was able to write a CD from guayadeque but if I don't have a blank CD in the drive the CD burner is not shown by Brasero.
There's a lot of people with Brasero issues with the CD burner. A long time that I'm using k3b, it's more stable and feature rich.
I have created a k3b command, it works fine.
The translations are already in dev branch (0.6.2-beta).
I already implemented the detection of desktop manager to setup a proper terminal in the first run after instalation (when creating ~/.guayadeque directory), only KDE (konsole) with Gnome fallback (gnome-terminal) by now. The code is not elegant but I'm going to refactor later!
Next release discussions.
