Pull in updates to iOS sample app #90

Putting this in a PR, but all of this has already been merged into the iOS app repo so it's G2G.

@dazmuda so do you want to just merge it in? Readers don't get access to the ios app repo so they won't be able to see it there.

Seems like it might be hard to get a review on 1000+ lines after 4pm on a Friday. :)

@jessieay Yep, this doesn't need review since it's content pulled in from another repo. Just wanted a sanity check that I placed in in the correct directory before merging it into this repo.
