Background

Co-Authors Plus was updated to support both the author taxonomy and the guest-author post type in the WP REST API, so our customizations are no longer needed.

What Was Accomplished

Removed customizations to rest_base and show_in_rest for both the author taxonomy and the guest-author post type.
