main link broken... #238

Not a code issue, but a repo/documentation issue https://www.uni-giessen.de/faculties/f09/institutes/ilr/hydro/download/spotpy

I'm mostly looking to "readthedocs" because I see some nice math formatting when I'm reading the comments in the objective functions. Would be great to see that!

Cheers and best regards

Hi @jmccreight, thank you for your message, indeed the documentation on "readthedocs" is missing so far. I have set it on my to-do List and marked it in red. I guess we can keep this issue open until the documentation is available on readthedocs.

I think broken links are a common issue and a radical solution to this problem is automatically checking and reporting them. Luckily the new GitHub actions and workflows help with that. I recently wrote an action that just does that. URLs-checker will check and report broken links, which is useful to spot similar issues to this one.

The simplest solution would be to move it to github.io

Even simpler (for now): Change to https://www.uni-giessen.de/faculties/f09/institutes/landscape/water/download/spotpy

Documentation is now on https://spotpy.readthedocs.io/en/latest/ However, the math stuff from the objective functions is not yet there. Has anyone suggestions how to include that into the docs?
