IPS patch doesn't work if player has collected a star from beating the game #1

Hey, thanks for submitting an issue. Yeah when the game writes data it overwrites the menu, I didn't want to fix this initially since it does modify the levels that get generated.. But I did just release an update that should make the saves not overwrite the menu.

As for if the IPS patch won't apply at all to a rom that has been modified to have stars collected.. That's possible, I'm not sure, it should only be applied to a clean 2j rom.

You may need to remove any saved information from your flash cart or emulator for the new rom if you don't change it's filename.

The menu doesn't work if you beat the game. Resetting causes a gray screen. The only way to play now is to close the emulator and reopen the ROM.
