[Question] Where in the file system are Sieve scripts saved? #836

This is neither a bug report nor a feature request but rather a question. Apologies if this is the wrong place for it.

I used Sieve as a Thunderbird add-on on a Mac. I don't have access to that machine anymore, but to a backup of that machine. I was wondering whether I can still access the Sieve scripts somehow to copy them over? Where in the file system does the add-on save the Sieve scripts?

Thanks for your work!

@flippflapp: The sieve scripts are saved on the mailserver. to retrieve them you need to connect to the mailserver. either through a sieve client, or even through ssh.

Thanks a lot for your answer @osiktech which cleared up a misconception I had :)
