XPI from Nighty build cannot be installed (corrupted file) #845

I download a XPI file from https://dev.azure.com/thsmi/sieve/_build/results?buildId=19367&view=artifacts&pathAsName=false&type=publishedArtifacts by selecting “Download Artifacts”.

Then in TB 102.5.1 on Linux I select Tools → Addon and Themes → Extensions → Gear-icon → Install Add-on From File… I select the “XPI - Thunderbird WebExtension.zip“ file. Thunderbird reports “about:addon - This addon could not be installed because it appears to be corrupt. [OK!]”

When I try to download the file from dev.azure.com again, an identical file is downloaded, so there are no transmission errors.

Well just unpack the zip archive, it contains the xpi file.
