Conversations continually loses track of threads when a message is deleted #250

Describe the problem and steps to reproduce it:

Delete a message with conversations enabled

What happened?

Message "We're sorry, but we can't display this conversation because the messages have been moved or deleted" appears. After that I have to start the setup assistant to get the threads back to a collapsible state.

What did you expect to happen?

Next message to be displayed in view pane. Collapsible threads to remain intact in mailbox pane.

Anything else we should know?

Thunderbird 102.15.1 (64-bit) Date view is newest first which is messed up anytime the assistant is run. Threads are still understood in that when I click on a message in a thread it shows the other threaded messages in the view pane but the collapsible bit is no longer in the mailbox pane.

This isn't a place to file bugs with specific add-ons or Thunderbird. For add-ons, you'll need to contact the author. For Thunderbird itself, there's Bugzilla. I suspect this is about the conversations add-on, in which case you should go here.
