Yes, that is the sequence, but can’t assure that I may not have changed some settings, when it stopped working, I tried to click on and off selections.
I am doing this in the local folders, and I carved out a smaller subset of the main file and attempted to run it on the smaller file.
So, I just tried it again, after closing Thunderbird and re-opening. It begins to export but stops at about 10 or the 447 emails.
Accessing the error console, this was what I see…

@JHS33 I just saw blank for the console output, was there any? So there is not a Consistent breaking point. Have you tried another folder, single message, a few messages, etc. The console output will hopefully help. Another test, try eml export (same permutations as above) this may separate profile vs export issues.

I had imported an mbox file from Google a couple of weeks ago and was able to generate HTML export with attachments very well, however I am no longer able to perform that same action. I had thought it was because thunderbird had updated, so I updated thunderbird and installed the new version of import-export-tools-ng, but am not able to export. It fails after a handful of emails (and there are thousands)
