Where is import mbox option? #472

There isn't any option for importing mbox files with Thunderbird 115.3.2. Also, when adding to Thunderbird, it puts it into Tools twice. Screenshot 2023-10-17 at 11 13 52 AM Screenshot 2023-10-17 at 11 13 41 AM

@hortonj Thanks for the post. You are presumably on Mac OS. There is a Thunderbird menu api error that causes the duplicate entries. I am trying to get some focus on this. Can you id your exact OS?

Importing mbox is done by right clicking on a folder within Local Folders, not the account. @cleidigh

My exact OS is Sonoma/14.0.

@hortonj Thanks. Did you get the import mbox files menu? Also the button has the same menu as Tools. @cleidigh

Hello everybody, I have a similar problem, with no option to import MBOX. In other words, the import tab doesn't even appear. Windows 11 Home, version 22H2, 64 bits. Thunderbird 115.3.3 (64-bit) ImportExportTools NG v14.0.0

@TiagoAco Create a folder under local folders and then right click to import there. Right now I don't have importing at the account level. @cleidigh

@TiagoAco This release has been a huge effort and the new menu system was just one big part. There are some differences and bugs I am working on for a maintenance release. If you want the latest beta or just want to track issues, you can download and look here : (current is b2)
