Eudora in.mbx imported to Thunderbird - any emails with HTML are displayed as blank emails in the main body #476

I'm trying to import my in.mbx from Eudora 7.1.0.9 into Thunderbird 115.3.3

ImportExportTools NG 14.0.0 downloaded from: https://addons.thunderbird.net/en-us/thunderbird/addon/importexporttools-ng/

the in.mbx consists of a little over 52,000 messages and file size is about 1.5GB

The import goes ahead without any errors but when I click on any of the imported emails in Thunderbird it will only display the contents of those which are text only, any that contain any HTML code are blank in the main email body.

Not sure why this is, maybe a bug? Any ideas please?

I'm using Windows 10 Pro as my OS.

I should add that if I send an HTML formatted email directly to Thunderbird it displays okay, in other words it's fine with HTML, the issue is presumably with ImportExportTools NG

@HearthstoneBugs I know importing from Eudora has had some issues over the years. I have no initial thoughts so I really must have something to inspect. Could you possibly create a two message mbox with example emails that are problematic? @cleidigh
