A message might contain embedded images, but the imagedata might be missing. This happens to me in long threads.
When exporting such message to HTML this is reported as:
"Unable to save the attachment. Please check your file name and try again later."
Having many messages to export (I use this as backup), it slows down (or breaks) the process as one has to confirm each Alert.
Suggested solution:
Tip: Rephrase the alert message box, as this is (from the end users point of view) not an attachment problem, but an embedded image issue.

@arjanarcheologie This is tricky as that message is coming from Thunderbird not Ietng. I'm not sure I can capture that. Do you have a single message that will cause this? @cleidigh
