GMail's Social, Promotions, Updates #2161

I'd like K-9 to use GMail's email types Social, Promotions and Updates. Incoming emails of those types should not trigger a "You have a new unread email". This is the default behavior of Gmail. Is that possible?

Possibly in the future. If this information is available over IMAP. I suspect this will depend on us handling Gmail labels - #752

I'm reluctant to do too much provider specific code but if it's just labels that's probably okay.

Looks like #6487 is a duplicate and was closed

We have no plans of using Gmail's proprietary API to support Gmail's proprietary features.
